Description
The chemical name of acetaminophen is N-(4-hydroxyphenyl)acetamide (N-(4-Hydrox ypheny l)ace tamide), the trade name is paracetamol, and it belongs to the acetanilide class of antipyretic analgesics. Mainly used for fever, headache and relief of mild and moderate pain caused by colds, such as joint pain, muscle pain, neuralgia, migraine, dysmenorrhea, cancer pain and postoperative analgesia. It can also be used for patients who are allergic to, intolerant or not suitable for aspirin use: such as chickenpox, hemophilia and other bleeding disorders (including those who use anticoagulant therapy), as well as patients with mild peptic ulcer and gastritis.
