Description

1. Sodium tripolyphosphate has good fluidity, the relative molecular mass is 367.86, the melting point is 622??C, it is easily soluble in water, and its aqueous solution is alkaline. Commonly used in food, as water retention agent, quality improver, pH regulator, metal chelating agent. 2. The aqueous solution of sodium tripolyphosphate is weakly alkaline (the pH value of 1% aqueous solution is about 9.7), and it forms a suspension (similar to an emulsion) in water with a pH in the range of 4.3 to 14, that is, dispersion. Sodium tripolyphosphate can also make liquid and solid particles better dissolved in liquid (such as water) medium, so that the appearance of the solution is completely transparent, like a real solution, which is the solubilization effect. Due to the above unique properties of sodium tripolyphosphate, it has become an important ideal raw material in washing powder.
